I often walk around when photographing animals, come across something interesting and take it from there. This picture does not come from such an occasion. Here I am lying in the mud next to a slow-flowing stream with low water, with a camouflage net on top – only the lens hood on the camera sticking out. Far in the distance I see this greenleg looking for insects and molluscs in the sediment in and by the river. I wait and finally it is there, very close, posing with its beak still shiny from its last dip.
The illustration is printed on the Swedish-made FSC-marked Scandia 2000 paper with a basis weight of 200 grams. A high quality, uncoated, matte paper.
